Version 2026-08 — in force since August 1, 2026

This policy explains how Inter Mobility Group ("IMG", "we") collects and uses your personal data on the Study or Work Abroad platform. Version 2026-08, in force from 1 August 2026.

Who is responsible

IMG is the data controller for the personal data processed on the platform. Questions and requests about your data go to the contact details on the Contact page.

What we collect

  • Account data — your name and email from sign-in.
  • Onboarding data — the identity you declare: name, date of birth, gender, phone, country of origin, city, passport number and expiry, a photo of your passport's first page and a portrait photo, and the consent versions you accepted.
  • Profile data — education, work history, languages, skills and the documents you upload (CV, diplomas, certificates).
  • Application data — the applications you submit, their status, and the messages exchanged about them.
  • Payment records — the payments listed on the platform and the proofs you attach. We do not process card data.

What we use it for

  • Running your account and the onboarding gate.
  • The one-time identity check after your deposit is verified, carried out by IMG or the regional partner for your country of origin.
  • Passing your applications to the institutions and employers you apply to.
  • Payment verification and record-keeping.
  • Contacting you about your applications and the platform.

Who sees your data

  • Institutions and employers see the application you send them — your profile sections and the answers to their questions. They do not see your passport scan or portrait, and they do not see whether or what you paid.
  • Regional partners see the data needed for the identity check of applicants from their country.
  • IMG staff see what their role requires.

We do not sell your data.

Identity documents

The passport scan and portrait from onboarding are used only for the identity check. They are stored separately from your profile documents and are never shared with institutions or employers.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and as long as we must under applicable law (for example payment records). When your account is closed we delete or anonymise data we no longer need.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy in a portable format, and you may object to certain processing. Contact IMG through the Contact page; you may also complain to your supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we publish a new version with its own effective date. The version you consented to at onboarding stays on record, and the version in force is always available on this page.
